I have been fortunate to have my jewelry worn on television shows like The Vampire Diaries, Black-ish, Jane the Virgin, and Law & Order SVU, and I have to admit that it is a bit of a giddy feeling to see your jewelry on the screen.
Take a little trip down memory lane with me through my adventures in tv land...
The Nora Necklace was featured on the first episode of Season 7 of

She may have been brought in for questioning on Law & Order SVU, but she was killing it in my

I love actress Nicole Sullivan on Black-ish, and I love that she's wearing my Small 14k Gold Hoops even more!

]]>My designs can sometimes begin with a color inspiration, a photo that sparks my imagination, or just a need to sit at the bench and play. One of the best ways for me to flesh out an idea is to sit down with a pad and pencil and create a rough sketch of the design. It isn't about drawing the perfect picture, but about getting a feel for where the design can go.
Once the designs are down on paper, the real magic can begin. For the sketch of the ring above, (with the round disc shape, and purple stone), I used a template to draw a circle on a sheet of metal, and used a jeweler’s saw to cut it out. After a little filing, sanding, and shaping, and it was ready to be soldered onto its ring shank.
Now comes the fun (or stressful) part-setting the stone. Working with gemstones that are 2mm or smaller can definitely give you gray hairs. I use a special visor to help me see the piece a little better, and begin the process of drilling a series of holes into the metal. This becomes even more challenging because the disc has been domed; but with a little patience, and a steady hand, I can cut a seat that will hold the tiny gemstone.
Once the stone is set, a little polishing is all it takes to complete this tiny treasure. I chose to give this ring a matte finish to highlight the color of the Amethyst.
Artists find inspiration from all kinds of things, but its the attention to detail, craftsmanship, and passion that brings ideas to life!
]]>From her signature "messy" bun, to her love of muted colors like black, white, and gray, the Duchess and I share an affection for simple, chic, and uncomplicated jewelry. She definitely is a girl after my own heart with her delicate gold chains, slim stacking rings, and understated earrings.
Here are just a few examples of the stunning Ms. Markle and her signature jewelry style.

Simple pendant necklaces, like this one, are perfect to wear on their own, with a cute floral top and jeans, or layered with your other favorite pieces to add a bit more drama.
Gold earrings never go out of style, and whether they are thin and delicate, or chunky and bold, they can easily take you from brunch with the girls, to a romantic dinner for two.
Stacks and stack of rings are always on trend, and this spring is no different. I love to stack ring of different metals, textures, and thicknesses to create my signature style. There are no rules! You can mix silver and gold, rose gold with yellow gold, or all of the above. Have fun with it, and enjoy showing off your personal style.
However you choose to adorn yourself this spring, be sure to choose jewelry that will empower you to be your Best Self!

As the seasons change from summer to fall, so do the colors that we bring into our wardrobe, make up, and accessories. The hues of peach, bronze, and coral begin to fade away, as browns, greens, reds , and golds take their place. Falling leaves, pumpkin lattes, and long cardigans create the perfect picture of the change of seasons, and the jewelry you wear can easily follow suit.

Known as the Stone of Power, smokey quartz is connected to the root chakra and is an excellent stone for grounding ones energy. I don't know about you, but I love the color red! I alway have. I feel confident when I wear it, there are touches of it throughout my home, and my birthstone is the ruby. If you want to know my favorite color, (in case you haven't figured it out), RED!
The Fall Fashion shows were dominated by the color red. With colors ranging from Crimson to Burgundy, Vermillion and Ruby, red is this seasons standout. Veteran designers like Carolina Herrera, Max Mara, and Victoria Beckham, pulled out all the stops with their sweaters, dresses, coats and shoes, all in bold, vibrant, radiant red!
A garnet statement ring, a delicate ruby necklace, or a chunky red coral bracelet will bring your jewelry game to pro level this fall. If you've never worn red, take a chance-it will brighten your day!
Take a peek inside Emma's Jewelry Box for a bit of red inspiration.

Rose gold is a gold alloy made of yellow gold and copper. The ratio of copper added determines how soft or deep the pink color. The most popular form of rose gold these days is of a softer pink hue.
The color of rose gold is elegant, warm, and timeless, and has been in and out of fashion since it's popularity with Russian royalty in the 1800's. One good reason it has maintained it status is that it looks good on any skin tone. Whether your dark or your fair, the beautiful blush brings out the warm tones of your skin. It also plays nice with others. You can mix yellow, rose, and white gold with rings, bangles and even layered necklaces.
Is rose gold the trend of the hour or a new classic? Only time will tell.

1) Traveling can be a frustrating experience under the best of circumstances, long security lines, cramped flights, and long layovers. Comfort is key when I travel, so my first essential is the classic jumpsuit by Ripley Rader. Designed by the fabulous Ripley for the woman who likes to have fun, it is incredibly comfortable and can go from a casual day of sightseeing, to a fabulous dinner with friends in an instant.
2) I love candles and always travel with them. A great scented candle can uplift your mood, create an atmosphere for journaling or meditation, and even make a hotel room feel a little more like home. My Japanese Plum Bloom candle from Voluspa is a travel must have, and its pretty purple tin makes it my #2 essential.
3) Jewelry and accessories are must haves when traveling, as they can take your simple summer dress from casual to sophisticated in 2.5 seconds. I don't like to travel with too much jewelry, because I don't want to lose anything, so I like to stick to a few classic pieces that can be worn with shorts and a tank top or my favorite LBD. Simple gold hoops from Emma's Jewelry Box are one such staple that goes with everything, and always makes a statement.
4) I met Benita Litt, the co- founder of Legend of Lido, at Body By Simone Brentwood, (where I work as an instructor) and fell in love with her companies line of travel tote bags and pouches. Each one is created using one-of-a-kind fabrics that are bright and colorful, whimsical, and practical. One of my favorites is the Square Leather Pouch in Gunmetal. It's the perfect size for an evening bag, easily storing your essentials for a night out.
5) My last travel must-have is my go-to moisturizer, Ultimate Brightening Oil from Uma Oils. Uma's founder Shrankhla Holecek is dedicated to creating amazing facial oils using organic essential oils to make your skin glow, and she delivers. This oil is lightweight, yet so packed with goodness that 3-4 drops are all you need to have beautiful, dewy, glowing skin. I also love the line of wellness oils like Pure Bliss and Pure Rest, which uses the power of essential oils to uplift or calm. The 15ml size bottles are perfect for travel.
These are my top 5 travel essentials, and I know that as long as I have them I can handle any travel curveball thrown my way. I'd love to hear what's on your list.
~xoxo Nicole~
